Virtual Service on Zoom
Congregants who participated in our “Transgender Inclusion in Congregations” class this fall share the wisdom and beauty of what they have learned and invite us to create spaces where, indeed, “all genders are sacred,” as we now say in our Welcome each Sunday. The Alegría Singers offer “Eye for Eye,” by Shawn Kirchner, recognition of the toll that hate and revenge can take, which resolves into a prayer for the vision to embody our common kinship.

11:00 a.m.–Worship via Zoom! “Wisdom from the Margins: Honoring Transgender Day of Visibility and Connecting at the Heart” Dear ones, this beautifully prepared service, chock full of sweet musical gifts and a few poignant surprises, is not just a nod to radical welcome but a deeply personal and relevant story of transformation. The members of the “Transgender Inclusion in Congregations” class last fall share its powerful, transformative impact, outline the need for more broken-openheartedness, and invite everyone to take this class, available now online for free!
Again, we share our Joys and Sorrows via Zoom chat–I’ll explain it all during Welcome and Announcements tomorrow morning! AND we experiment with Breakout Rooms for Social Hour so you can meet new people and share a real conversation!
