“Keep fresh before me the moments of my high resolve,” the Rev. Dr. Howard Thurman writes (see Rev. Nancy’s essay in the March newsletter). What does it take to renew our commitment to our deepest goals, our highest values? What or who helps us? How can we find the resilience and the strength to recommit to what matters most—especially as we move into the next few months, when the remaining restrictions from the pandemic and its lasting effects seem unpredictable?

We’ll hear stories from congregants and friends who have faced those crucial moments when a commitment needed to be made or renewed, and they found the courage and resilience to do it! Listening to these voices, we come to hear again our own inner voice, showing us the way.
