Spiritual presence, or ministry of presence, is one of the core qualities that a spiritual professional brings to their relationships. This presence allows another person to feel comfortable being their vulnerable self. While this quality may come easier to some people than others, everyone can improve on their ability to be present with others. Join us as we listen, sing, and play together on this first Sunday of Advent.

Rev. Claire Eustace serves as a chaplain at Hospice East Bay and is a community-affiliated minister at First Unitarian Church of Oakland. She currently serves on her union’s bargaining team, which is bargaining its first contract. She lives in Oakland with her family.
