With Christmas carols, candlelight, a delightful story of a wise man’s camel, and a brief reflection on how we Unitarian Universalists make meaning of this season, we open our minds and hearts to awe on a night when new hope comes to a hurting world. The Alegría Singers open in the hushed silence with “Alleluia Incantation” and later sing “Cantique de Noel,” by Adolph Adam, arranged by Chip Davis with choral arrangement by John M. Ector. All are welcome!
Please plan to bring finger food to share after our Christmas Service (just one this year) at 7 PM on Sunday, December 24th! Hot cider will be provided to add to the festivities. Please drop your food item off in Hattie Porter Hall before the service. Volunteers are needed to help with some simple decorating of the tables around 6 PM on the 24th. Heating the cider is another small but important task! Please let Liz Owen know if you are available! lowen@data-time.com or 408-386-0729.
