Love is All We Need (Six Love Strategies for Countering Hate)

As Unitarian Universalists, we are known as the Love people. From our public advocacy campaign, Side With Love, with our commitment to harness Love’s power to stop oppression, to the values we affirm in our Principles, Love is central to our faith. Join us as we explore together strategies for countering hate and oppression everyday, living out Love in action.

Bio: The Reverend Crystal Zerfoss most recently served the Community Unitarian Universalist Church in Pasco, Washington and the Juneau Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, in Juneau, Alaska. Currently returning to ministry following a traumatic brain injury, Rev. Crystal is actively involved with Allies for Racial Equity, the Washington Poor People’s Campaign, and various local and regional social justice initiatives such as Planned Parenthood and Farm Workers Rights in both Washington and Oregon.  She joins us today from her home on the lands of the Nez Pierce, Wanapum, Yakama, and Umatilla people in Kennewick, WA where she lives with her feline companion, Ella.
