An image of Amanda Udis-Kessler smiling in front of a piano. Her hair is pulled back, and she is wearing a soft grey sweatshirt.

Our special guest this July 4 is Dr. Amanda Udis-Kessler, a progressive sacred music composer and hymn writer, sociologist, ethicist, and longtime UU lay preacher. During this service, which will feature three of Amanda’s hymns (two written specifically for this service), Amanda will reflect on interdependence from three perspectives: as part of the human condition, as an ethical invitation, and as informing our justice work.
