Ecology of redwoods, moss, ....

One of FUCSJ’s favorite guest worship leaders, Rev. Vail Weller, returns to inspire and guide us on this Inspiration Sunday, the official launch of the congregation-wide Annual Giving and Capital Campaigns. These campaigns are about so much more than money. They are about making real and tangible our impact in this world; about increasing the safety, accessibility, comfort, and sustainability of our spiritual home; and about leaving a legacy for the generations to come.

Rev. Vail writes, “What do moss, aspen, redwoods, and mushrooms have in common with FUCSJ? What is your role in the interconnected web that makes up this community? What is the ecology of generosity? Come, let’s celebrate all that is ‘beyond our comprehension that has already begun.’”

Music includes a live performance of #1017 “Building a New Way”; a beautiful anthem from the Alegría Singers, “Locus Iste,” by Gareth Malone; “One Voice,” by the Wailin’ Jennys, performed by Guitars Aloud; and the fabulous Bengsons’ “Money Coming In.”
