Most of us would likely agree that we are living in difficult times. Just getting through a day can be a challenge as we endure a constant barrage of bad news and uncertainty. Addressing this issue, bioethicist Willard Marvin said, “Life is to be enjoyed, not simply endured. Pleasure and goodness and joy support the pursuit of survival.” That’s easy to say, but is often hard to put into practice!
