An arched opening in a brick wall through which we can see bright sunshine and beautiful gardens. The words "Breaking Through the Numbness" are in white on the lower right-hand corner.

This month’s theme, “Becoming,” invites us to get in touch with where we are now—emotionally, psychologically, spiritually—and to set our sights on what we’d like to change. For some of us, the past year’s crises have left us feeling worn out and numb, maybe trapped in some patterns that the limits on our movement and interactions have encouraged. How do we break through? How do we refresh our energy for this lifelong journey of becoming? Maybe it means taking some risks and trying something new. Come, let’s discover the ways.

We make space for sharing our Joys and Sorrows this Sunday, and our Special Collection goes to Loaves and Fishes. The music features Miley Cyrus’s song “The Climb,” by Jessi Alexander and John Mabe, performed for us by Guitars Aloud. It captures our commitment to the journey!
