The First Unitarian Church of San Jose (FUCSJ) is a liberal faith community supporting inclusive, anti-racist, anti-oppressive values. We are fully supported by our members and friends as we strive to Make Love Visible in all that we say and do.

The 2023-2024 annual pledge campaign is now complete. We received $403,070 in pledges. Thank you to all of our donors. Every pledge helps.

The annual budget was approved by the congregation at the May 21, 2023 congregational meeting. The OMC made an adjustment on May 23 to make the pianist an employee, and the final pledges were received on May 25. These changes have been incorporated into the final budget. Automatic Withdrawal
If you intend to pay your pledge by having us withdraw money from your checking account on a periodic basis, the bank requires that we have a signed paper cover of an automatic withdrawal authorization form on file. If you submitted a new authorization form in 2022 or after, you do not need to submit a new one now. If your are creating a new automatic withdrawal, please click on the following link, print the form, fill it out and sign it, and mail it to the church office at First Unitarian Church of San Jose, c/o Treasurer, 160 N Third St, San Jose CA 95112. Please contact Treasurer@sanjoseuu.org with any questions or to modify your existing banking information or to modify or cancel an automatic withdrawal schedule.

Capital Campaign
In 2022, we conducted a once-in-a-generation Capital Campaign, which will pay for urgent repairs to the roof and other parts of the building, as well as improvements to the functionality, accessibility, and security of the building for the modern era. As of May 2022, the Capital Campaign had raised $1,517,000. Thank you to all of our generous donors.
