Lockup Check List
FUCSJ Building Lock-Up Check List
I. Keep yourself safe: Do not confront anyone. If you find anyone in the
building that does not belong there, call 911 immediately.
II. Be alert: Listen for sounds while going through the building.
III. Communicate: If you find anything out of whack, suspicious, eventful, please
send a note to the building committee and Nika, so we can be aware of any
potential issues. Proceed with caution. BuildingCommittee@sanjoseuu.org
IV. Should you find any door-that-should-be-locked unlocked and you don’t have a
key, please notify the Building Committee and Nika as soon as possible.
V. Please turn off all lights as you proceed.
o HPH windows are closed and latched.
o HPH Outside door pulled closed.
o HPH Door locked.
o Fireside Room windows are closed and latched.
o Fireside Room Kitchen door locked.
o Fireside Room Door locked.
o Front Doors pulled closed with pins down in the thresholds.
o Sanctuary windows are closed, and wire arms placed in sill. (If present).
o Sanctuary worship closet locked.
o Sanctuary door from foyer locked.
o Balcony Door from rear locked.
o Youth Room Door locked.
o Office outside door locked.
o Office inside door locked. (To Classrooms).
o Kitchen door locked to office.
o Kitchen door locked to classroom hallway.
o Classroom emergency exits pulled shut. (2)
o Third St. Community Center entrance locked.
o Automatic door set to “OFF” and door locked.
