The Unitarian Universalist (UU) Band of Writers (BOW) meets first Sundays of the month at 12:45 PM at First Unitarian Church of San Jose, 160 N. Third St. in San Jose CA 95113, upstairs in the youth room (now meeting on zoom by invitation only). Registered participants are given a topic (“prompt”) in advance, from which writers can expound in any way that moves them, literally or vaguely. We also write spontaneously for 10 minutes on a given topic at the meeting. The facilitator is usually Amy Baldwin.
