2022 Pledge Campaign
The First Unitarian Church of San Jose is a liberal faith community supporting inclusive, antiracist, antioppressive values. We are supported by our members and friends.
Our 2022-2023 Annual Campaign concluded successfully in May 2022. We raised $432,000, thanks to generous donors and a strong response to Rev. Nancy’s appeal when we were falling short. Thank you to everybody who pledged. We are overjoyed by the strong support during these difficult times.
The annual budget will be considered by a Congregational Meeting after Sunday service on May 22. You may access a copy of the proposed budget with the following link:

In 2022, we conducted two pledge campaigns simultaneously: the regular Annual Giving Campaign, which pays for the salaries of our staff and the operating costs of the church; and a once-in-a-generation Capital Campaign, which will pay for urgent repairs to the roof and other parts of the building, as well as improvements to the functionality, accessibility, and security of the building for the modern era. As of May 2022, the Capital Campaign has raised $1,517,000. Thank you to all of our generous donors.

This will enable you to make your pledge using an online form. This enables us to process pledges immediately. You will receive a copy of your pledge form by email.
Automatic Withdrawal Authorization Form
[Print and mail signed copy to First Unitarian Church of San Jose, c/o Treasurer, 160 N Third St, San Jose CA 95112]
If you intend to pay your pledge (annual or capital) by having us withdraw money from your checking account on a periodic basis, you MUST fill out a printed copy of this authorization form and mail it to the church office, EVEN IF YOU HAVE DONE SO BEFORE. Our bank wants us to have new signed authorization forms on file subject to their inspection on demand to prove that you have authorized withdrawals. If you do not have a printer at home and you cannot find the form that was included with the pledge materials that were mailed to you, contact treasurer@sanjoseuu.org and we will mail you a new form.
