Pricing for Facility Use

We offer several packages that can be tailored to you specific needs. Visit the quick links to the left for specific information on the packages available. Members of the First Unitarian Church of San Jose should contact Sharmeen Enayat at the church office.

WEDDINGS AND COMMITMENT CEREMONIES

Fireside Room and Upstairs Kitchen - $500

  • This rate includes use of the rooms for 4 hours.
  • This rental requires a $500 deposit, which is refundable.
  • Each additional hour will be billed at a rate of $50.00.

Church Sanctuary - $1200

  • This rate includes use of the rooms for 5 hours.
  • This rental requires a $500 deposit, which is refundable.
  • Each additional hour will be billed at a rate of $100.00.

Sanctuary, Hattie Porter Hall, Fireside Room, Lounge and Kitchen - $2500

  • This rate includes use of the rooms for 10 hours.
  • This rental requires a $1000 deposit, which is refundable.
  • Each additional hour will be billed at a rate of $100.00.

Hattie Porter Hall, Fireside Room and Kitchen - $1800

  • This rate includes use of the rooms for 6 hours.
  • This rental requires a $750 deposit, which is refundable.
  • Each additional hour will be billed at a rate of $100.00.

DAYTIME AND PRIVATE EVENTS

Classroom Rentals: Per Room/Per Hour - $75

  • This rental requires a $750 deposit, which is refundable.

  • This rate includes use of the rooms for 8 hours.
  • This rental requires a $1000 deposit, which is refundable.

NON-PROFIT RATES

In 1992, we celebrated the 100th anniversary of the church's construction by launching, a fundraising campaign to save and restore our historic church.  The restoration program was tragically interrupted when, on October 16, 1995, a six- alarm fire gutted the church. For three years the congregation met for worship outside the building, moving back into the sanctuary in 1998. Work and fundraising continued until the building was completed in 2001 at a cost of $8 million.
